OPTA-Alert is an Application Aid for all HP(Tandem) Nonstop applications. With OPTA-Alert, HP NonStop application Startup and Termination information is now available with NO application changes.
OPTA-LowPin Optimizer Data sheet , Presentation , Product Download Earlier versions of HP NonStop-series operating systems only supported 256 concurrent processes per CPU. Today, HP Nonstop systems are capable of supporting up to 65,534 concurrent processes per CPU. Applications written for earlier version of the HP Nonstop operating system continue to run, with no modifications. However, these applications can only run as a Low Pin process(process identification number, (PIN) that ranges from 0 through 254).
Low Pins are a very limited Nonstop system resource (255 per CPU). When not used efficiently, Low Pin Process creation failures disrupt application environments. Low Pin Process Creation failures can occur in one CPU, while other CPUs have Low Pin resources available. Sometimes, additional CPUs are purchased just to support Low Pin processing requirements.

FileSync reduces errors associated with maintaining multiple duplicate application and system environments.
