Online Process Tracer and Analyzer
OPTA is an application tracing utility for HP NonStop applications that intercepts and logs NonStop Kernel System Procedure Call information. OPTA can also be used to support a customer's own application program tracing requirements. Application trace information is available online or offilne. The procedure information captured by OPTA includes; ( Parameter contents, Condition codes, Return values, File errors, $RECEIVE / TMF info, etc. ). With OPTA, NO application source code changes are required. OPTA supports application tracing for TNS, TNS/R and TNS/E applications.
